The "Louvre Abu Dhabi" museum announced the return of the annual "Art Now" exhibition with a broader vision until 2025. This year, the theme of the exhibition, held in partnership with the Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches "Richard Mille", became "Tones". Artists are invited to explore the interaction of light and shade, investigate artistic and cultural traditions common to the Persian Gulf and Japan in the fields of architecture, art, and poetry.
The curator of this year's exhibition will be artist expert and editor from Switzerland and Japan, Sofi Maiko Arni, residing in the Persian Gulf region. Arni stands out for her innovative style of coordinating local exhibitions, public art, and digital publications. She continues to shape the contemporary art scene in the context of collaboration between Arab states of the Persian Gulf and other regions.
With her organizational skills, Arni strives to build bridges between Asian regions, focusing on the study of architecture, traditions, consumer culture, and technology. This makes her unique and qualified for leading this year's investigation of light and shade.
